Courtesy of Lynda Weinman, author of many books about color and design on the web, is this palette of 216 colors that can be displayed properly on both Macintosh and Windows systems. Using these colors for your web graphics assures your graphics will look correct on either system when limited to a 256 or 8 bit color palette.
You will need to use an application that can read and print pdf files such as Adobe Acrobat.
